Black leather gives a room immediate focus. In Africa nero you get a deep, lightly patinated tone that looks almost blue-black in daylight and warmer under lamplight.

With Africa nero the natural hide structure remains visible. With Kenia black the grain is more pronounced and the colour more even. Eco-leather black is smooth, uniform, easier to clean — often the practical choice for families with young children.
Dark tones absorb more light. In a small or relatively dark room, pure black can look heavier than anthracite or espresso. With a light floor and good daylight the effect is negligible.
With aniline leather (Africa nero), the deepest black can lighten slightly on used areas, especially in direct sunlight. Pigmented leather and eco-leather barely change.
Contrast works well: warm white, soft taupe, off-white, beige. Tone-on-tone with charcoal walls also possible — provided the lighting is right.
Africa nero, Africa espresso and eco-leather black always within walking distance.
