The story of leather.

A leather sofa is rarely an impulse purchase. It is lived with for twenty years, moved between houses, rearranged around a new table or a new child. So we write, quietly, about what passes through our hands: where Africa is finished, why Het Anker works differently than HE Design, which leather belongs in a narrow city apartment and which belongs on a farmhouse floor. These are not product blurbs. They are notes from the showroom, the factory, and twenty-seven years of listening to customers.
