We collect only what you give us yourself. No tracking, no ad networks, no cookies that follow you around the web. What we do do, and why, is below.

We currently set no cookies that recognise or track you. That is why there is no cookie banner.
No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no ad pixels. No profiling, no traceable data.
Contact forms go directly to us via email or WhatsApp. We only store data when you reach out.
The site runs on Vercel with servers in Frankfurt. No data transfer outside the EU for the site itself.
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction and erasure. Email us and we respond within a month.
The date at the top of this page shows the latest change. For larger updates (e.g. if we add analytics) we will update this page.
When you call, email, WhatsApp or visit us in person, we process the data you share: name, contact details, the content of your message and any preferences for a sofa or leather. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in serving you well, and your consent through the act of contacting us.
We use your address and contact details to send the samples and to follow up if needed. We do not call or email you further unless you have asked us to.
We process invoice data: name, address, phone, email, bank account number and any alternative delivery address. We keep this data for as long as required by tax law (seven years).
We do not process personal data merely to display the site. We set no tracking cookies and load no ad pixels. Your IP address is briefly processed by our hosting provider (Vercel) to deliver the site technically, as with any website. This data is not passed on to us for analysis.
Our site runs on servers in Frankfurt. Vercel briefly processes the IP address to serve your request.
We load two typefaces from Google Fonts. No cookies, but a technical IP request to Google on load.
The map on the contact page comes from OpenStreetMap, a European non-profit that does not use tracking cookies.
If you click our WhatsApp link, WhatsApp opens and you see Meta's terms. Their policy applies to that conversation.
We have a data processing agreement with Vercel. Your data is not sold to other parties or shared for marketing purposes.
You may request which data we process about you.
You may have incorrect data corrected or completed.
You may request deletion of your data, except for what we must legally retain (such as invoices).
You may request that we pause processing while we examine a complaint or question.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
You may request a copy of the data you provided to us, in a common format.
Send an email to info@ledercollection.com describing your request. We respond within one month. Not satisfied? You may file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), or with your local supervisory authority.
Our site runs fully over HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate. We apply security headers against misuse (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, Content-Type protection, strict Referrer-Policy). Only employees with a necessary role have access to customer data.
If our data practices change (for example, when we add analytics or Search Console) we will update this page. The version date at the top always shows the latest change.
We take privacy questions seriously and respond personally. No chatbot, no ticketing system, just a person.
