Milled semi-aniline
After tanning, Toledo is tumbled, which gives the leather a marble-like structure. Unique in detail on every sofa, consistent in character.
Toledo is our industrial answer. Semi-aniline leather with a milled finish that recalls natural marble, concrete, or damp leather. The colour is not flat, but not dramatic either, more a quiet cloud pattern that belongs in industrial lofts and minimalist rooms.
The leather has a closed surface, like Foggia, but with a distinct tumbled texture. That texture means Toledo hides very well what Africa shows openly: fingerprints, tiny scratches, faint stains. They simply vanish into the pattern.
After tanning, Toledo is tumbled, which gives the leather a marble-like structure. Unique in detail on every sofa, consistent in character.
The texture offers Toledo an optical advantage: small imperfections disappear into the pattern, the way fabric weaves do. A small scratch is barely visible.
Toledo flows beautifully with concrete, steel, old wood and black metal. Combine it with industrial pendants and shelving from scaffolding boards, and you have a living room that looks like it has been there for a decade.
Toledo is practical and low-maintenance. What it needs:
Industrial lofts, minimalist rooms, anyone who wants calm leather with light texture, practical households that still want character.
If you want warm, patinating tones, Africa or Rancho is the better fit. Toledo is cooler and more neutral.
Toledo feels almost stone-like under your hand, yet soft and supple enough for a sofa. The combination works best in rooms with concrete, steel, or dark wood. Come feel it in our church showroom.
