№ 05 · Lived-in, vintage, pull-up

Rancho
leather.

Rancho is our most outspoken leather. Oil pull-up leather worked with a dramatic colour shift, where pressure, rubbing, and sitting literally leave traces. The hide lightens where it folds, deepens where it lies relaxed. Not everyone wants that. Those who want it usually know instantly.

On Rancho, scratches are not defects. They are the point. In the first weeks you have a sofa with a slightly uneven character, at six months a sofa with a story, after three years a sofa that feels like an old pair of boots you never want to part with. For anyone who loves vintage, that ranch-style feeling, the charm of furniture that does not look new.

№ 01 · Character

Rancho, character over perfection

a

Pull-up effect

The leather is saturated with oil and wax. Under pressure the colour briefly lifts and leaves a lasting difference. Every spot where you regularly sit builds its own tale.

b

Dramatic patina

Where Africa patinates calmly over 6 to 12 months, Rancho shows change within a month. In three years your sofa has its own landscape, with lighter and darker areas nobody else has.

c

Deliberately irregular

Hide scars, small insect pricks, colour variations. On Rancho they are kept on purpose. This is not leather that wants to look perfect. This is leather that wants to live.

№ 02 · Colours

Rancho in eight vintage colours

Every Rancho colour carries a vintage undertone. Never bright, always with some ripened warmth.
Cognac
Warm pull-up cognac, karakter.
Brown
Diep doorleefd bruin.
Moro
Donker Moro-bruin, dramatisch.
Nero
Matzwart met warme kern.
Nevada (Clay)
Klei-oranje, woestijn-tint.
Green
Rustig legergroen.
Steel
Koel staalgrijs.
Stone
Neutraal steengrijs.
№ 03 · Care

Care for Rancho leather

Rancho asks more attention than our other leathers, but with a different purpose: you feed the character, you do not remove traces.

Weekly
Dry dusting. Scratches and spots stay, that is the point.
Every 3 months
Work in pull-up leather oil. It freshens the colour and replenishes the oil reservoir.
Scratches
Rub gently with a dry cloth or the back of your hand. They usually sink back into the surface.
Stains
Lightly damp cloth. Larger marks become part of the pattern.
№ 04 · Who it suits

Who Rancho suits

+ Good fit

Vintage lovers, industrial lofts, people with saloon- or retro-interiors, households where scratches are not a problem but a bonus.

! Less suited

If you want a sofa that always looks new, skip Rancho. This leather shifts from the first day you sit on it. Pick Granada or Foggia instead.
